United Steel are proud to support The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association in their mission to provide guide dogs and give a sense of freedom to those who have lost their sight.

The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association has been providing guide dogs for 75 years and is entirely dependent on voluntary contributions to continue their good work. Each guide dog has to undergo an extensive training programme which costs £5000.

United Steel are donating 50p from the sale of every stock handrail standard to provide and train much needed guide dogs and by February 2008 we had raised over £12,000.

Since the start of our relationship in March 2006 we have been able to provide The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association with the funds to train two much needed guide dogs.

With your help we will be able to carry on supporting this good cause for many years to come.
